How did you get into making art?
Ironically through my mother! When I was 8 years old, I won a trip to Disney World and my mother bought me a camera to capture highlights of my trip. Knowing that no one in my family at the time had taken a trip outside of my hometown Athens, Ga, I took a lot of pride in getting shots my mom would appreciate. Those photos are still in her living room to this day 😊
What are you currently working on?
Expanding my brand in different markets.
It's always necessary to have the vibes right with the music & set the tone with dynamic lighting. From there it's time to create!

What inspired you to get started on this body of work?
I love to travel so I decided to be more intentional with my trips and find ways to create with the local talent of those respective cities.
Do you work on distinct projects or do you take a broader approach to your practice?
I enjoy doing both, I appreciate being able to do a variety. However, no matter distinct project or broad I approach every job with the same level of passion.
What’s a typical day like in your studio?
A ton of energy, always! It’s always necessary to have the vibes right with the music & set the tone with dynamic lighting. From there it’s time to create!

Where do you go to discover new artists?
Between Instagram, Museums and my label Collective Gallery I’m constantly discovering new artists that are not only pushing that narrative forward but inspiring me in the process.
